About Me

My name is Ace Emerson. I am a film maker, director, producer, photographer, copy editor, screenwriter, event coordinator, motivational speaker, as well as public relations practitioner.
I have worked for more than 15 years, with companies like Six Flags Great America, the Clinton Administration campaign trails, 1992, Disneyworld (Orlando), Sea world Florida, Chicago’s Field Muzium, Petra Group holdings, Sutra Holdings, etc.,. 
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Public Relations, and Photography, as well as a Master’s Degree in Film from Tisch College of the Arts, NYU, New York.
I am currently a freelancer and looking for a more permanent post.
Before that I had a short stint with the Malay Mail as Lifestyle Editor where I managed the content and led the editorial team of said section.
Prior to that, I was an Associate Editor with HCK Media where I was responsible for theantdaily.com  – an online news portal.
My first leap into journalism in Malaysia was with the Star Newspaper in 1996.  
Since then, I have worked with various publications (print  [magazine and newspaper] and online) including the Red Crescent Society as Editor/International Correspondent, Editor of SME & Entrepreneurship Magazine and HR Asia with Business Media International (BMI), Weekend and Features Editor at theSun Newspaper, etc,.
As for my other virtues like film - I was with the Star Group Ltd of Hong Kong where I was given my own show to Produce, direct, and screen write, entitled “The Ticket” which was aired on Channel [V] International - the content and documentary Director/Producer with GMA Philippines as well as, Director/Producer/Scriptwriter for many other film and advertizing companies.
I also ran and co-owned a theater company (Smuffphynt Creation).
I have built my career in a variety of roles and industries.
I am used to wearing many hats and I thrive in an environment where no two work days are exactly the same.
