Ideal font pairing can be a difficult process of trial and error. Typography is often another part of the design process which really takes up a lot of time. However, FontPair lets you browse through a vast collection of ready-made font pairings, helpfully organised so that you can quickly find the exact kind of combination. You can see great examples of many pairings, and when you find the perfect mix you can download your chosen fonts with a single click.

While there are tons of places for you to find free fonts online, BeFonts may be one of the better options available. From stacks of great-looking fonts for all applications, from basic serifs and sans-serifs through to more decorative display and script fonts, as well as far-out symbols, bitmap and retro fonts, BeFont is a one-stop shop to get fonts for your next project.

Whenever you need to design a good-looking mockup, Frames is the perfect choice for you. It has a collection of fully responsive vector mockup frames for most applications, including iPhones, iPads and Android devices, as well as frames for various browsers and apps on Windows and iOS. You can download the mockups individually for free, but if you’re in a rush, you can buy all the mocks for only $9 (RM37).

Icons can make or break a design, so it’s always good to have a decent set of icons handy. Ionicons consists of a sizable collection of app icons plus tons of logos to go with them. These icons are available for web, Android, iOS and desktop apps. The best thing is that they're completely open source and MIT licensed, and come in SVG format for easier scaling.

Illustrated figures are a great way to liven up your designs. While some designers may want to draw their own, or use a more customized set of illustrations, Humaaans is a much easier solution.
